You officially have NO excuse not to look forward to the month of May....Enjoy this nine-day smorgasbaoard of fabulous free and ticketed events including street dances, concerts, performances for children, film presentations, theatre, art workshops and demonstrations, Art Walk, a National Outdoor Sculpture Competition and Exhibition, the Arts Festival Gala, and the oh-so-Grand Finale with entertainment and fireworks at the beautiful Riverfront Park.
Wednesday evening's artwalk will be a great way to deal with mid-week madness...stroll along the NC historic district from 5-8pm for all the savory sights and sounds. Then return to the same spot Friday evening for the block party featuring the East Coast Party Band...both events are free...but I'm barely skimming the surface, ya'll.
